Joint Gender & Science Meeting NCCR MUST & RESOLV Culture Change in Academia
March 9-12, 2022 in Stoos SZ, Switzerland

The joint Gender & Science Meeting of the NCCR MUST (Switzerland) and the Cluster of Excellence RESOLV of the Ruhr-University Bochum (Germany) strengthens the collaboration of the two networks and in the fields of pyhsics and chemistry regarding gender aspects. In addition to evaluating equal opportunity measures in our fields, we will discuss how measures and experiences can be extended to all and address new trends in gender research.

We will look at the much-needed culture change in academia from a variety of perspectives, assess the measures and achievements of our equal opportunity programs and learn about the efforts and plans of universities and funding agencies. With a mix of internal contributions and external inputs, with presentations, a panel discussion, practical exercises and "hands-on" sessions, we aim to promote an open, respectful and fruitful exchange.

As meeting venue, the Seminar- und Wellnesshotel Stoos is the perfect place for networking and community building. Our program includes time for informal networking while skiing, snowshoeing, winter hiking or by simply enjoying the beautiful surrounding and breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps.

The meeting is open to all genders and to people working in the fields of physics, chemistry or gender equality.

Participation is only possible with a valid COVID certificate.
